Javier Galera is a London-based artist specialising in urban photography. Expanding beyond traditional photography, he navigates various media—including collage, sculpture, installation, printing, and zine-making—to push the medium beyond its original negative film form. His work captures communities and their relationship to their surroundings, drawing inspiration from ideologies of freedom, resistance, and punk iconography.
